I have had 3 things posted through my letter box this morning..... a charity bag (from a rip off company) an Indian takeaway delivery menu and a local advertiser. I jumped up and ran to the door everytime after reading that some orders turned up without notice........ then I get a knock..... Ohhhh, im sqealing with excitemnt as I run to the door......its a parcel!!! For NEXT DOOR - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
I need to stop checking this thread and my M&S account, lol!!!
  • bemybaby01384 is really starting to annoy me. MSE is all about getting the best deal and helping others get it too.

It's not so much the massive order that bothers me (although it really really does!) it's the attitude that really gets to me, almost boasting. Is there really any need for it?

I suppose the massive order is part of the attitude that I hate, thinking of only yourself isn't really what MSE is all about. Personally I wouldn't even be too bothered with a RRP £100 order, there are reasonable explainations for that kind of large order (school raffles + large adult family etc), but I can't possibly fathem what one person would do with that many items, doing some estimation maths that's at least 40 items of alcohol based gift products.

.... But back to the main point of this thread. I live in Cambridgeshire, I ordered 2 after dinner sets, 2 whisky sets and a pack of wine cards which are estimated to arrive on the 14th (along with some of the mens toiletries). Can't wait :D

How funny! I'm in the same boat
Worst still I'm wasting my life on the PC and not going down the gym.
At least no tempting chocs and booze when I get back..
Good luck to everyone still waiting :rotfl:

... Did you know fidgiting actually burns calories so listening to music and tapping your feet whilst on the computer will still count as exercise. Obviously not as good at burning calories as the gym but a lot less sweating and you can still build muscle tone too. An excuse to fidgit all day - love it!

In fact, according to Google images, I have 29.5 million images of cake at my fingertips, and I'm not afraid to use them! :D

I suspect he/she is a troll! Either that, or why bother to keep posting .

Looking at his / her posting history, their only contribution to MSE seems to be to take advantage of the grabbits!

Unfortunately appears to be one of life's takers ... not givers!

    Never mind - I forgive you :p!

I don't think this particular poster is a troll - think she genuinely just doesn't get it

Nevermind she must have gone to crack open a bottle of Blue Wicked by now to celebrate her order being delivered - prob followed by a couple of bottles of Calpol (following her stock clearance of Boots trying to boost her points)
Actually come to think about it it's getting on for lunchtime so I expect the kids dinner is calling down at Greggs :)
