    My usb mouse stop working after the Vista beta 2 install, I unplugged it and used a different usb slot, that worked. You might want to download and install chipset drivers for your motherboard.

    Er thats ok then, what I meant was if you get the full and not upgrade version (if available) do get a legit one, as you already have thats :cool:

    cheers for that,if i go for a clean install i will only really lose what came bundeld with it wont i? all other third party stuff i can just reinstall

    I dont know, I would consult http://www.eset.com/ to ask if its Vista compatible or you may get a few problems, best to hear it from the horses mouth so to say and put your mind at rest.

    cheers ,too late now doing a clean install,says that its copying old files to a file called windows.old .

    keep ya posted (bit nervous to be honest,live on the edge me you know!);)

    NOD 32 is ok for Vista. As for the mouse if its USB then just unplug and re-insert it. Are you trying to install the mouse software?? The sofware might not be compatible but it should work with just the Vista drivers. Could you post your Laptop specs and give more information about the other problems

    cheers scooter ,it just finished installing a minute ago and its just going through updating drivers at minute,me mouse is working now,i think it may have been set at US settings before
