Go go pets hamsters & accessories stock updates & discussion Part 2

I just turned up at my local argos and they had the 4 new hamsters jilly etc on the counter, so if tru are getting new stock they could possibly be the new hamsters. worth a trip to argos or tru if you want the new hamsters before christmas.

I think i may have to go tomorrow to argos. I would love to get a jilly for dd she loves pink! Where is your local argos? Wonder if iys just a certain area that have them by mistake

I got mine by chance. I went in yesterday intending to get Pipsqueak and asked to view the hamsters as I only wanted one particular type. The four the assistant brought out were the new ones!

The new hamsters seem to be in North West England: Morecambe, Southport, Stockport, Wythenshaw....

I am in Southport near Liverpool the small argos only had 1 chunk what someone had returned yesterday apprently. I asked s/a to check the bigger argos 5 minutes away and she said they had 33 in stock and when I got there as I said before the new hamsters where on the counter limited to two per customer. S/A said she had to tell me they where called zhu zhu pets not go go pets and from Japan. hope this helps.

I wonder if the distribution centres have new stock or old? I have ordered two to be delivered on Monday, if they are old I will be sending them back. Fingers crossed !!!

The hamster I bought yesterday (Nugget) was also in Zhu Zhu packaging, but I think it is because all new Go Go stock has been re-branded as Zhu Zhu. The picture on the reverse of the box included the new 2010 stock. There also seems to be extra packaging inside the box to make it sturdier and prevent the buttons on the back being activated by mistake.
