Once again well said, I bought one for my DD but that was more because I wanted the wheel (I never had a hamster whilst I was growing up:rotfl:) and me and DH thought it looked quite cool, I'm sure she will enjoy it but she doesn't actually need it, none of use need any of this and as jellyhead says these sellers may get their just desserts, or they will have one hell of a hamster city set up on Xmas day:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sod the hamsters, I think my family could move into 10 hamster cities, there'd be enough room!

I ordered for 3 friends one changed her mind , It was from another Spanish site, the postage was 35E so it worked out better to order 3 anyway, still around £50 each though which is good for what you get. :)

If Hamleys is out of stock, ask a stupid question but why is it still on the stockchecker?

Out of interest if anyone has a boxed grand adventure set would they mind weighing it for me? so I can see what the postage options are if at all possible.

1871g, just catching up so you may already have the answer, but if you don't I'll never find your post if I go back to find it. lol

It is not anyone's stockchecker at fault in that case.

If Hamley's are offering the invitation to buy via 'add to bag' then that's what the stockcheckers detect. When Hamleys switch that off, then the stockcheckers will remove it from 'in stock'.

So you see, it is actually Hamley's fault in common with other retailers that are slow to change the product page to out of stock (Tesco is really slow too).

If we fudged our robots to ignore the 'add to bag' for now, then new stock could come in and fail to be reported. Many retailers relist quickly when they cancel bulk orders, problem payments etc.. So not a good idea.
