Spanish set no longer avilable off the site.

Not surprised, someone on ebay is selling 11 sets  I had a look to see what postage they were using, but it says freepost by 1st class recorded.

hate it when they do that with xmas gifts, its not fair on those who try to get and stuggle and there fore have to result on going to ebay

They won't get here by Christmas from Spain now, surely?

  • Today I decided to try and get Pipsqueak to complete my hamster collection. I managed to reserve a hamster using ring and reserve at my local Argos (Morecambe), even though you are not supposed to be able to reserve them.

I went to the store and asked to view the hamsters as I only wanted Pipsqueak. The assistant brought four different ones out. I was confused for a moment as none of them looked like Pipsqueak, then I realised OMG they were the FOUR NEW HAMSTERS: JILLY, SCOODLES, NUGGET AND WINKIE!!!.:eek::eek:

I wasn't sure which one to get but thought Nugget looked the cutest (the marmalade coloured one) so got that one.

Can't believe I got a new hamster before Christmas on the high street!!!
OMG - now dont know what to do, I am a recovering hamsterholic - have all that I need (or should that be all my kiddies need) but now - I feel a relapse coming on - I may have to start trawling argos again trying to get new hammies - not sure how we would cope though on xmas day with 8 hammies flying around the house !!!! Oh god someone please help me, I think I need hamster therapy:rotfl:

the seller has them in the UK ready to send on. Would probably arrive by christmas even if posted on monday first class, or when I looked earlier it looked as if special delivery would be under £10

If the 2 cheaper ones go for £80-ish then the seller won't make a huge profit (fees and postage would eat up more than £20 I think?) but the ones going for £120 will be more profitable.

It's a shame to think people are paying £120+ for something with approx £55 rrp though.

  • I paid about £47 for the set, including delivery, so selling for £80 would make a few quid, I suppose. But it's huge, I think it would be expensive to post! I wouldn't pay £80 for it, let alone £120, but each to his own.

People will pay ridiculous amounts of money for things, I am a living testament to that rule :rotfl:see below for house and car!
