i ordered on monday 7/12 at 8.40 pm - to collect from store - should have had two playsets - received two hamsters

I ordered playsets from John Lewis Tuesday morning 8am and went to pick up Thurs am only to find hamsters. Its been a bit of a hassle getting a refund from them too never mind an apology!

I'm still waiting for my Monday order to be delivered from JL. I think it's too late for the postie now

Just phoned JL about my reorder for playsets because they ruined my first order I made on Monday by sending hammies to the store. :mad:
The order appears to be now on backorder :mad: because they have no more playsets and no date for next delivery according to the nice Scottish lady over the phone. So I guess everyone who has a playset order with JL with a status of "Order Processing" is in the same boat as me. If you are hoping to get them before Christmas that would be a big hope. I am going to look else where for playsets, possibly queue at TRU every morning for the next 13 days. :eek:
The only good news to report is that I collected my car and garage from Argos this morning. :j:j:j The staff didn't even make a comment probably because they had no idea how hard it was to find.

They didn't say - just that they had had a delivery of this year's must have toy and to get there early!!

If I cannot find a bed at RRP Mr S will have to make do with this until after Christmas.

Thanks for that, just rang them and they have 100 hamsters going on sale tomorrow at 9am. No accessories or add ons and they doubt they will get any before xmas
