  • Daft hamster question, are they about the same size as a real hamster? Would they fit through a toilet roll/kitchen roll tube? am thinking my daughter will probably want to make mazes and things for hers (which hasn't arrived yet) and wondered if things like that will do?
Do you know - I don't think I've ever seen a real hamster - we had them when we were really tiny, although looking at these hammies I think they are about the size of a Guinnea Pig maybe - can't really remember having much to do with one of those either!!!!!!!:rotfl:

They are quite small although you have to remember that real hamsters can "squeeze" thru things - these ones can't change their size. I think Pringle tubes would be more appropriate....

Can someone please confirm which batteries the hamsters need? Mine are all wrapped up and I'm off to Costco in a bit, so I can stock up from there.

Anyone out there actually got what they ordered from John Lewis, mine still as not arrived and i am getting very anxious now. If they send me hamsters i will stick it up the MD !!!! myself personally. I am furious cause i just know it is either not going to turn up or it is going to be wrong. They already new this had happened on Tuesday and Wednesday they should of looked into it and sorted all the parcels out. No amount of compensation can make up for this incompetence.
