I have bought my niece a hamster with a house for Xmas.

My theory is that I can add to this for her birthday in Feb if she likes it.

What age are people buying these for?

I read the other day they are aimed at 4-10 year olds

Well that isn't that odd, many people on here have more than one child to buy for, not just their own, but friends and relatives as well. Or they may want more than one hamster per child. Many of us on here have also tried to help out other people by getting them hammies when they come into stock.

A little tip for those who do need to purchase more than 2:

If toysrus list again, you are allowed one of each hamster per order. Therefore if there are 4 hamster types in stock, then you can get one of each per order. This restriction is per order, NOT per address etc, so if you need more than four, all you do is place another order.
