That is reassuring, I was too impatient to wait until I got to work tomorrow and could ask my friend who is doing spanish lessons.

I think that's a bit harsh. Yes, it's well annoying if you don't get what you ordered. But it sounds as if they were friendly sorting it out, and gave you £15 they didn't have to, as well.
