I hope not! did you pay by paypal? you could prove that to ebay?
I won the auction and about 30 minutes later i went to pay but i had a message from the seller saying they werent happy to sell at that price. So wouldnt sell me it.
I didnt pay cos they'd said that.
I would rather get a strike than risk sending the money then tying myself up in a paypal dispute cos i never recieve it.
I just think they have a bloody cheek.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -

You know i won that ball last and the seller said i couldnt have it, they have just sent me an email asking me to cancel the transaction or they'll issue a non paying bidder thingy with ebay.
Can they do that???
No did you pay ? I think they hoping to get their fees back. Can you not open dispute with paypal ?
Just popping back to see what the info is on the news story. Thanks Maxi and soz to hear about your accident.

They cant do that!!! You won that fair and square. report them to ebay, cheeky gits!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR0 -
No they cannot report you because you have totally held up your end of the bargain, they are the ones that are going against a contractual agreement, report them to ebay immediately. Ebay will see that you have bought the item fair and square and that they are the ones backing out of the transaction for no legitimate reason. Get in first though!0

you don't need to open a dispute with paypal. just do it all through ebay itself. Don't agree to cancel the transaction and at least they won't get their final value fee back which is what they're after!
There should be a link on your selling section to report a problem with the transaction and you can report them via that :-)0 -
Name them and shame them so we can all block them!!:beer:0

i would never do that! if i didnt want it to go under a certain price they should have put a reserve on it!...there's bound to be something you can do.children wetting the bed?

It doesnt matter that you have not paid, they backed out of the agreement before you had a chance. This really annoys me. Why dont people start the auction at what they are happy to sell it for rather than a low starting price and then do this! The whole point of ebay is to sell for what it makes not to sell and then see if you are happy with the price it goes for!!!! I say report them anyway, they will only do it to someone else next time!!0

I had a similar thing a couple of months ago, seller refused to sell as the end price wasn't high enough. I rang Ebay customer services who confirmed this wasn't right and sent an email to Ebay through the help page thing, they then contacted the seller and I received item 4 days later. I think if it was a valid auction etc then the seller has to honour it, you should email them with the details and get them to sort it out for you. On my email it said you should use 'report this item' link at the bottom of the listing.0
