i have managed to collect parcels for my partner before and i took the rent card which is in his name and my id which has my name and his address,

both last names are different and i got his mail.

tried 11 no one is in.

if they collect the parcel and there is a invoice it surely will have my name and address in the inside hopefully

royal mail said on phone they would have to send it back to ytc and that person would need id to match the address and am not sure about the names.

also checked there redelivery page you can redelivery a parcel to any adddress was tempted to book it and get it send back to my address,

if not looks like my daughter will loose out on her xmas due to a simple error

confused? do 11 have the parcel...and you have the card to say it was left there?

rm site says

Item tracnd could not be delivered on 2009-12-04 (and no Safeplace option was specified by the addressee). It is being held at Kittybrewster DO pending instructions from addressee.

So sorry for you, what a shame...did YTC say if they have any stock left to cover such situations?

Addressee - that's you right? cant YTC just send an email or fax a letter to the delivery office to explain its yours? Just seems so silly to have to send it back!
