Went to pick up an order from Tesco today for the two different hamsters. There was only one in the box, no email from Tesco's or phone call to state there would only be one. The girl at the counter felt the box was too light and checked. She phoned direct and was told the other was on its way!!!!!!! However when I went home and phoned direct they stated that I would not get the other one and there will be no more stock. I stated that if the girl had not noticed and I checked the sealed box when I got home how could I have proved that there was only one in the box.

Very poor treatment, direct blamed the warehouse I don't care they phoned and emailed confirmation of two hamsters.
last 2 tesco direct orders have had things missing - customer service is rubbish and they have thiefs in their warehouse

Do we have the same legislation for antimony here? Lots of things are banned in the US or other countries that aren't banned here, like artificial food colours.

  • I think you just have to take these things with a pinch of salt. There is far too much scaremongering going on these days.

Careful.. they say too much salt is bad for you too!

Evening everyone, not very well today so have not been out hunting. I think it is a good time to reflect on what we know. Lets start with the big guns Character still hoping for a delivery on the 18th, have sent them an email to find out if they have anymore upto date news, will expect an email tomorrow some time. Unless livdaz heres something before myself. Tesco have been told no more stock until after Christmas, (others have been told the same). Asda after sending them several emails i finally got a reply, All out of stock they do not know when they will be getting any stock. TRU waiting to hear from them direct, but was told at my local TRU, they thought it was very unlikely that anymore would come in before Xmas, (other people at their branches have all been told the same). Argos have said they only have hamsters left. Hooray out of stock now. Toymaster out of stock. This is not gospel, mainly because it is very hard to get a straight answer, and no two people give you the same answer. The lady at my local Tesco direct counter said she had a list as long as her arm for the Funhouses. I think i am going to give up the hunt now. But this is a mission of mine now, so i am going to carry on emailing and finding out as much as i possibly can. I will keep posting as soon as receive any information. Merry Christmas everyone.

I was in John Lewis today - playing with this huge interactive fur real dog - think he was called biscuit - cool or what!!! Would have fancied one as would have made a good companion for me and Chunky with the bonus that it didn't poo, smell, or need to be taken for walks but the £99 price tag put me off :rotfl:I asked the assistant about the go go stuff and she said they had been told that they wouldn't be getting any more deliveries to store before Christmas. However, the company was trying to get some more stock and 'if' they managed it, then it would go straight to the website. Fenwicks, TJ Hughes, Boots, and Wilkinsons were not anticipating any further stocks in store before Christmas.
:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:
