I was expecting a Toys R Us delivery yesterday after I put in an order last Thursday. I rang them today and complained that I hadn't received it. The woman was quite polite and has apparently refunded my delivery charge of £4.95 but she said all the parcels were being sent out by Royal Mail and aren't even tracked. She believed they were sent out first class but I am doubting even that.

The only thing giving me hope is that I have another order outstanding from Royal Mail that also hasn't arrived yet so I am guessing it is just Royal Mail slowing down. Apparently Monday was the most popular day for ordering online for Christmas presents so I think Royal Mail are struggling to cope. If it is not that and my order from TRU doesn't show I can apply for a refund from Friday onwards (after allowing for 5 days for delivery).

For those thathave had orders cancelled with tesco regarding their fraud system cancelling orders, i would ring your ban and check that they havent marked your card.

I had this last year, had my card refuse, at loads of places etc, kept having to verify who i was over the phone and finally found out it was beacuse my card had flagged up as possible fraudulent activity.

So if you starthaving problems with your card this might be why.

I did post this earlier but think it got lost in the hoohaa that was goin on -

smyths in birmingham had loads (and I mean loads) of houses.....a whole 4 shelves full and then more on top....the sales lady was amazed and said they'd been there all day and they'd not sold hardly any.....hope it helps any fellow brummies.:beer:

My TRU order came royal mail not signed for so would wait until Fri before panicking i think. (Joke we all paid nearly 35 each for this service though!!)

I ordered Fri from TRU & my parcel was estimated to be delivered by today but mine was delivered by DHL Monday night at half past 7, so don't lose hope & dunno what their playing at sending stuff by RM for some folk & DHL for others....................no fair!!!!!! On another note, i got my very statement in yday that was sent on 7th Nov & due to be paid by 28th Nov so obv RM just can't cope...................well when did they ever!!!!!

Also Smyths in Walsall have had the houses in the last couple of days:D
