I was expecting a Toys R Us delivery, according to my delivery today is the latest day for delivery but nothing yet. Just wondered has anyone had a delivery up to or later then 8pm?
I am a little worried after hearing some of the stories how they leave parcels anywhere and they are not signed etc, if I never receive anything will I have any comeback at all. I've ordered £50 of Lego and really couldn't afford to pay for it again.

I am also still waiting on my Toys R Us delivery due today. I know they said delivery can be up until 9pm but I am getting worried.

WHAT!!!! how ridiculous bet you were well peeved!!

I wasnt surprised to be honest - i always have problems with that particular DHL driver, once he let himself into my house and left a parcel in the kitchen, i was in the shower at the time and went ballistic. what did DHL do - nothing.

Oh and the nearest depot is 30 miles away.

On top of that DF got a parking ticket today 30 bloomin quid , whilst parked outside my mums house. He was there for 5 minutes whilst carrying her shopping in for her, she only lives 3 doors away from me too, and we have never seen a traffic warden here, its unheard of.
DF didnt spot the ticket till he was driving to work. I laughed at first and said have you read it properly, maybe one of theneighbours is trying to have a laugh, but its a genuine ticket.

Our neighbours are funny, when we got the car back from the garage after we got run of theroad by an uninsured driver causing £5000 worth of damage, 1 neighnour knocked on the door all flustered saying, ah mate im so sorry, i know you've just got your car back but i've just backed into it with the 4x4. You should have seen my other halfs face.:rotfl:

So i am not impressed today.

Back on topic now, i had to wrap all my TRU bits to stop me playing with them when the kids went to bed.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!

My DH ordered 3 hamsters for his sister last night from Tescos and he got an email soon after saying that the order had been cancelled due to only being allowed 2. Now he has just had a phone call from Tescos telling him that 2 hamsters off his order are being dispatched  Very strange but hopefully they will do this to on all orders :D
  • What a jobsworth! It would have taken less than a minute to return the card for him to destroy and you sign for the parcel.

Unless you got a very long drive! :rotfl:

I know where I would be sticking his card :rotfl::rotfl: I would have been :mad::mad:
  • exactly - it's a bit strange that so many people had trouble with their cards !! must have been to do with ordering more than 2

    Hi,

    he's lucky then.

My hubbie and I have 2 separate accounts with Tesco, and we each ordered 2, and we had one of the orders cancelled.

Rang them up and the are claiming "2 per household", and said the website is wrong.

We were also told initially there was a problem with the payment, but they admitted later this wasn't true. They are just lying.

They also said they weren't expecting any more in before Christmas.

    Cheers,
    Karen
