BT Broadband Wireless - Please Help Me

If you still dont have the DNS sorted you have 3 options

Set IP configuration to DHCP, it will set the DNS to the gateway 192.268.1.1 and supply all the other IP details

2 manually set the BT DNS servers in the IP configuratiopn page in network properties

3 manually set the router/gateway address as the DNS server address works the same as option 1 but you do it your self witout the involvement of DHCP.

Im with BT and the DNS servers my router have are
62.6.40.178
194.72.0.98

The easiest option as BT have changed their DNS server addreses in the past is to use option 1 or option 3 so if they change the addreses again the router will get the new addreses and the PC's dont need changeing.

i'm not with BT but work for an isp but can't seem to find BT's dns settings anywhere except for ones that are out of date

Follwo the instructions i posted before up to the point of adding dns settings
instead change the settings to
"obtain an ip address automatically"
and
"Obtain Dns server address setting autmatically"
