Mobile contract

Hi,
My husband went recently to Natwest to apply for an account and was surprised to be offered a gold account. However he has just tried to apply for a mobile phone contract on vodafone and has been declined??

Any ideas why?

    Could be something in credit history, maybe not on electrol roll, not at same address long enough etc. etc.

    Could order his credit history report from Experian say.

    Or contact vodafone and they might offer him a contract if he pays up front deposit as security.

    Why on earth would he WANT a contract? Buy your own phone an go PAYG or a SIM-only deal for the best value.
