Orange - free evening calls?

I heard from a friend that she was getting free same network calls off peak to other Orange mobiles, I was looking on their website just now and I can't find any trace of an offer of this nature - has anyone else heard of it?

Whilst I'm on the subject, can any PAYG tariff beat O2's 400 Free Texts, and 50 minutes (£7.50) for a £10 monthly top-up?

TIA, Daniel

The offer may be over now, these offers run for a ltd period once so many have signed up they get new offers online.

Me and my g/friend are both on Orange PAYG, these offers were up around 6 months or so ago we gave it a go and signed up to all of them and ever since have been getting all of them as long as we add £10 per month.

    This includes
600 minutes of on net calls (to other orange phones) between 7pm and midnight
    300 free texts per month
£4.00 worth of orange world access.

But if we miss putting the £10 on before the next valid period we have to wait one month to get the next lot of freebies. It is dam good value and I know people on contract that are gob smacked and paying more for similar.

Just keep your eye on this part of the site

To get all the current offers they do change all the time.

Snaffler my man, that sounds... good! So should I buy an Orange SIM now for a quid, and keep it handy for one of these offers to appear? My phone's unlocked, so I can whack it in as soon as its needed.

Is that the best plan? Thanks, Daniel

Yes, they have brought the offer back this month - only difference is this time it is only for 2 years as opposed to 5 years earlier. Also, u have to call cust srvc for this offer to be put on ur account - u cannot do it via sending a text msg.

There is no mention of this offer anywhere on the orange website.

And to get full value, in addition to free texts & gprs, u can also avail of unlimited calls to & from a orange pay monthly phone, in addition to the evening calls.

    cheers,
