Existing Virgin Media Customer? Better your deal now!

Hi everyone,
If you're an existing Virgin Media customer, call now and get your deal revised, you will be surprised how simple it is.
Basically, I recently noticed that the deals on their website are far better than the deal I am/was getting, so I called Virgin customer services, who immediately said that they couldn't do anything, however, the friendly lady did let on that if I called the "I am thinking of leaving Virgin" department, they can and will normally always do something for existing customers.
So, I called and told them that I felt it's unfair that a new customer gets a far better deal "long term" when compared to someone like me, that's been with Virgin / Telewest for almost 6 years.
I was immediately told that existing customers are allowed the same deals as new customers, except the initial special offer parts, eg, not the £5 for 2 months etc.
So, to cut a long story short, she kindly upgraded my TV from large to Xtra large package, plus she told me I also now get free weekend calls, and then to top it all off, she reduced my monthly bill by a few quid, so all in all, a fantastic result.
I now have a much better tv, internet and tel package and pay less.
Make that call, you won't regret it
