Hi all
My freeview box has recently stopped working and I was advised if might be better to get a new TV with freeview incorporated as thinner tv would look better, be digital, and I'd loose one box in the TV stand. I've currently got an analogue 28" CRT TV.
I was thinking of getting a digital 32" with built in freeview, but I understand that HD freeview boxes will not be available until next year. Is it worth me buying a cheapy freeview box to use in the meantime and then next year buying a HD ready TV which has built in HD freeview?

If you're interested in FreeviewHD (and more importantly maybe in having it integrated instead of having a separate box) then do get a cheapo (was Argos doing 1 for £15?) box now and make do. Wait till spring/summer 2010 so that you'll pay less of a premium for the new stuff coming out.0

If your 28" TV is still sound definitely buy a cheap Freeview box or even invest in a Freeview box with a built in hard drive to record programmes because :-
1. Freeview HD boxes and TVs will be silly prices when they first come out
and 2. there won't be much worth watching to start with!!0
