Looking to use Cosmos Tourama, can anyone clarify

• Help line says they cannot send out brochures, only available through travel agents!
• Th £400 limit....that is £100 coupons, so £400 off the holiday, per adult, not £400 vouchers/£1600 off?

Phone operator, on the Tesco line did not know the answer!!!!!!

You can use £400 maximum (of converted points) per person!

NOTE, that you have to pay the FULL price (not a price you may see online) if you use vouchers. This full price could possibly be about £400 more anyway! Phone up Cosmos to get an idea of how much it'll be (Find the 0870 number from the Tesco Clubcard website then go to Saynoto0870.com and find a normal phone number there).

Looking a holiday to Florida. Proable cost £3000. Should have about £1500 in holiday tokens, balance to pay should be about £1500. I was wondering whether it is possible to pay the remainder of the cost with Virgin Credit Card and therefore secure an additional discount given that this provides up to a 10% discount?

I'm looking to book a holiday with Virgin. Have been saving for a while but only just noticed this morning about the £700 limit per passenger! :rolleyes:

There will be 3 of us going, me & my OH and our little one. So we could put £2100 towards the cost of the holiday, right? The holiday I'm looking at however, says 'kids stay and eat free' - so does this limit us to £1400 since she goes free? or can we still put £2100 in?

I would ring them but it seems it varies depending who you speak to so wondered if there was anyone with first hand experience on here first!

You would all be well advised to read a few holidays threads on www.paidtoshop.co.uk then register and ask the experts there for any more advice you need.

I have paid for two holidays before with Deals, but both companies are no longer in the Deals/Rewards scheme (XL who no longer exist, and French Life). The OP just needs to keep the faith and save the vouchers every quarter, also maximise your points-earning from tips on paid to shop, they really know their stuff!

But for those of you who already have enough Deals equivalent to make the payment in the next couple of months, had you compared the cost of converting your Deals to Airmiles instead? Airmiles match most holiday brochures and 'buy' the same holiday for you, using your Airmiles.

The reason for this to be worth considering right now is that the conversion rate from Tesco vouchers to Airmiles is currently double value (120 Airmiles per £2.50 in T vouchers I think, instead of the usual 60). There is a great 'Airmiles for Dummies' thread on paid to shop with all the FAQs, and another thread specifically about the double value Airmiles offer with people discussing how best to cover their holiday.

There is also double value on BA Airmiles at the moment I think. By the way, AFAIK neither 'double value' situation shows on the Tesco website except in small-print at the bottom of the Deals info once you click through to find out more about the Deal. But people have converted their vouchers and have got the bonus amount of Airmiles - it is a genuine offer.

The double amount is only available to people who have NOT previously converted Tesco vouchers to Airmiles (but you could already have earned Airmiles elsewhere, you don't have to be new to Airmiles completely).
