hello all,
first of all sorry if this is in the wrong section wasn't sure where to put it so feel free to move.
i'm looking to start saving clubcard vouchers for a holiday and wondered if anyone who has done this can point me in the right direction ie which is best company to go with (we're hoping to go abroad) and can i use other vouchers (say my mum's and sisters) to buy extra vouchers.
any help would be apricated

New rules were brought in for Virgin and Cosmos, where you could only redeem a maximum value per person! £700 for Virgin and £400 for Cosmos. This may limit your options somewhat!.....0

yeah i did notice that but think im right in thinking that if my adult ticket cost me say £800 and i have £700 in vouchers i can add the remainder £100?
do you also know if i can add other peoples vouchers like my mum's?have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -
Not sure about Virgin but with Cosmos, if you're paying with vouchers (in full or in part) then you pay the FULL price, not a price you may see online.
Paidtoshop is a good forum for Tesco points, might be worth joining that too......0 -
hiya i actually got the best deal through cosmos, better than online and other travel agents, we are going bulgaria next yr for 2 weeks, i also changed up my mums tokens and used them but we do have the same surname so dont know if that was why they were acceptednow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0

thanks mirror, i will take a look later then. is it all easy to sort out? i keep getting visions of it all going wrong and all my time saving will be wasted. how long did it take you to save?
did you exchange for holiday vouchers as you got your clubcard vouchers or save all up and get together?have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -
once exchanged they are only valid for 6 months where the original vouchers are valid for 2 years so best to wait until you have enough or at least planning to book in the next few months.:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0

We've used Clubcard vouchers to pay for a holiday with Virgin to Florida twice so far. You order your Clubcard deals vouchers on the Tesco website first (we used other family members vouchers too, but they do have the same surname). You call Virgin and book over the phone. Virgin were very helpful when we said our dates and departure airports were flexible. They told us the cheapest dates and airports. You then have to pay a deposit by a credit card and send the Deals vouchers. The deposit is then refunded to your card.0

i saved mine up and then ordered the holiday vouchers all together, i paid a deposit by credit card and sent them the vouchers, i didnt ask for the deposit to be refunded to my card though as i just paid it straight off. its a maximum of £700 now you cant pay it all off in vouchers.
