Dual wall log cabins have a wall cavity which can be insulated, and are good for year-round living. Better insulated than most 50 year old houses in fact. Concrete and mortar leaks heat terribly.
All cabins should be treated with preserver before being built, but if not an option always do it right after. With regular maintenance they can last forever.0 -
we've had one for a number of years, and we love it, we also have a small garden, and we use it all year round, it's lovely and relaxing, it's lovely to watch the snow while sitting in there with the heater on and a glass of wine, we have a stereo in there, but we don't have a tv in it because its nice to get away from the telly, i'd say go for it you won't regret itwins so far:- absolutely nothing, not even an arguement:mad:0
