Water Boiler or Gas Fire?

Must have been asked many a time before, but I work from home next to a gas fire but use our normal water boiler to heat the house, would the gas fire be cheaper?

If you are only working in one room, then yes, it would be cheaper just to heat that room with the gas fire.0
