Hi girlatplay. You can still take part but just add up how much you tkae out and declare that at the end of the year.

With regard to me taking your name off the list: Why don't I leave it there then if you're able to save anything, fair enough, but if not it doesn't matter and you're there for whenever you're ready. A lot of people are going to be in your position thanks to the PM and his great ideas :(, so stick with us - as and when you can! All the very best for next year.

I would really like to stay, I was just worried that as I wouldn't be able to seal the pot it wouldn't really count. This will be my third year :j and although I don't post very often I do enjoy taking part and knowing that everyone else is doing the challenge too. I love opening the pot at the end of the year and finding out what I have saved. I'm really chuffed that I got more than double what I got last year!! :T

I will stay then. I won't put a target as I don't really know how well or badly I will do this year :o. Sometimes it will be as silly as taking out £1.75 for a school dinner for my daughter  (managed not to do that up to now but have been close). Thank you so much for your support. I'm away to put my challenge number back into my signature! xx

Ah, I see what you mean now,Chris, I'm glad too as it concerned me a little last night I must admit. As you say though, with careful budgeting and a sensible outlook it's amazing what we all can do. Downsizing is a good thing, friends of ours have recently done the same, they're happy too as well. I gave a little smile at your "I've always been 'thrifty' - tight, some people called it!" it definitely has advantages and that counts when you're the careful (that's the word ;)) type and why not! All the best Chris, to you both. Sue x
mine is a bit rubbish as i started padding every penny to my debt instead of putting it in my sealed pot... sorry!

psycho, that's so sad to read that as £80.51 is wonderful when you've been getting money off debts as well. You've done so very well, so please, please, please don't apologise. Even if you'd put all your money into paying debts, so what, it's still saving in a sense. All best wishes for this next time - whatever you do with it!!! Be proud of yourself psycho, you deserve to be. :)

girlatplay, I'm really, really pleased you're staying with us! If you're enjoying saving then that's all that matters - keep on doing so...and whether your pots unsealable it's not the end of the world - it's my fault for christening it wrongly!!!! :rotfl::rotfl: Lovely that you're staying!!!

    hi guys,

Big fat 0 for me. Our pot was stolen a few weeks ago, and I haven't had the heart to start another one.
