Happy Halloween all, too late for me to join for Christmas this year, so will start for next year,? do you all have an official start date or just start whenever?
You all seem to be doing really well, I've had a terramundi for a few years now, but there is hardly anything in there, sadly.🎄The most wonderful time of the year 🎄0 -
Hi everyone not posted for ages but have been adding to the pot. I'm not on my third pot0

Welcome Pixie Fairydust
I'm so glad you found us, but you don't get off that easily, I'm sure when Sue (the boss) see's your post she will automatically issue you with a membership number, then you'll be officially in the gang, so if I were you, I'd just give in to temptation and start saving, we've only got 30 days of this challenge left but be assured there will be a "Sealed pot challenge 4"starting 2nd December

KNOW THE SYMPTOMS.....PLEASE READ!Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder.Somehow I feel better,even though I have it!!Recently, I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D. -
Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.
This is how it manifests:
I decide to water my garden. As I turn on the hose in the driveway,
I look over at my car and decide it needs washing.
As I start toward the garage,
I notice mail on the porch table that
I brought up from the mail box earlier.
I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car.I lay my car keys on the table,Put the junk mail in the waste basket under the table,
And notice that the basket is full.
So, I decide to put the bills backOn the table and take out the rubbish first.
But then I think,Since I'm going to be near the mailbox
When I take out the rubbish anyway,
I may as well pay the bills first.
I take my cheque book off the table,And see that there is only one cheque left.
My extra cheques are in my desk in the study,So I go inside the house to my desk where
I find the can of Coke I'd been drinking.
I'm going to look for my cheques,But first I need to push the Coke aside
So that I don't accidentally knock it over..
The Coke is getting warm ,And I decide to put it in the fridge to keep it cold.
As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke,A vase of flowers on the counter
Catches my eye--they need water.
I put the Coke on the counter andDiscover my reading glasses that
I've been searching for all morning.
I decide I better put them back on my desk,But first I'm going to water the flowers.
I set the glasses back down on the counter,Fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote.
Someone left it on the kitchen table.
I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV,
I'll be looking for the remote,
But I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table,
So I decide to put it back where it belongs,
But first I'll water the flowers.
I pour some water in the flowers,But quite a bit of it spills on the floor.
So, I set the remote back on the table,Get some towels and wipe up the spill.
Then, I head down the hall trying toRemember what I was planning to do.
At the end of the day:The car isn't washedThe bills aren't paidThere is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counterThe flowers don't have enough water,There is still only 1 cheque in my cheque book,I can't find the remote,I can't find my glasses,And I don't remember what I did with the car keys. Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today,
I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all darn day,
And I'm really tired.
I realize this is a serious problem,And I'll try to get some help for it,
But first I'll check my e-mail...
Do me a favour.
Forward this message to everyone you know,
Because I don't remember who the heck I've sent it to.

A woman in a supermarket is following a grandfather and his badly behaved 3 year-old grandson.
It's obvious to her that he has his hands full with the child screaming for sweets in the sweet aisle, biscuits in the biscuit aisle; and for fruit, cereal and pop in the other aisles.
Meanwhile, Gramps is working his way around, saying in a controlled voice, "Easy, William, we won't be long . . . easy, boy."
Another outburst, and she hears the granddad calmly say, "It's okay, William, just a couple more minutes and we'll be out of here. Hang in there, boy."
At the checkout, the little terror is throwing items out of the trolley, and Gramps says again in a controlled voice, "William, William, relax buddy, don't get upset. We'll be home in five minutes; stay cool, William."
Very impressed, the woman goes outside where the grandfather is loading his groceries and the boy into the car.
She said to the elderly gentleman, "It's none of my business, but you
were amazing in there. I don't know how you did it. That whole time, you kept your composure, and no matter how loud and disruptive he got, you just calmly kept saying things would be okay. William is very lucky to have you as his grandpa."
"Thanks, lady," said the grandfather, "but I'm William . .. . the little b*st*rd's name is Kevin."Sparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T

Ah, you're back again then KONG, up to mischief too I see! Not a lot of people know this but some folk believe their pots are calling to them and saying "Feel Me, Feel Me", they then interpret that as it calling to them to empty it out!!!!
No, no, no! That ain't the case and as all we sane folk in the challenge know - they're really saying "Fill Me, Fill Me!"Keep filling it up KONG, if you don't there may be DIRE actions to face!!! Cheesh, I'm getting as daft as all you lot!!!

By the way Pixie Fairydust, the challenge we're on now is Sealed Pot Challenge No 3 and officially began on the 2nd December. It ends on the 1st December, meaning No 4 will start on the 2nd. Most of us save for Christmas, but nothing's official here..you save for what YOU wish! A lot of folk save for holidays, weddings etc. If you take a look on page 1 you'll see exactly what the challenge is all about. Re your terramundi not having done much over the last 5 years...stick with us and you'll soon be getting the saving bug! BTW, don't ever smash it when you want to get it out. Take a knife and gradually tilt and shake the pot til the coins fall out. It's hard work...but you'll LOVE it!!!
