Good to see you back safe sparky. So your weekend was, in more ways than one, quite up and down..but you wouldn't have missed it for the world, I'm sure! ;)

You could be doing a lot worse dippykitty. As my Mum used to say, it's worse where there's none! :) Keep saving as hard as you can, more than that you can't do. Keep at it.

You've FOUND yet again then Lost! :j

    Well done skilly!

I was going to say we'll order rain especially for you then LC, but I might be going on holiday any time soon...so I won't! :p Lap it up while you can.

Nowt for me over the last couple of days, but DH was in hospital on Monday as he lost his vision! Turned out after so many tests that it was an aura before a migraine and blood vessels went into a spasm causing the 'fog' then double vision. I hope we don't get too many times like that, though far better than the suspected stroke that was first thought! Could have been soooo much worse for sure.

Have a great day folks and stay safe and healthy.

Sue glad it was not bad news for your Dh and you. Have had migraines since i was 8yrs old. Not as bad now i'm 46. but can still be quite scary for someone watching an attack. Hope everything goes well in the future for Dh after all what would we do without them. In my case i would have no one to pick on. sending hugs.xxx

Hi everyone and thank you ALL so very much for your kind wishes, they really do mean so much. DH has had a couple more days of migraines, but aside from the nausea he's had no other sight problems, thank Heavens. Reading some of the problems some of you have experienced, especially Winchelsea & LC, makes it feel less threatening than it was on Monday, though I can certainly sympathise with what others have endured. The only problem with it all for us and our DD was that after booking in at A & E they kept us waiting for a whole hour!!! Our Dr was not at all happy, us either! Be with you in a mo sparky and thanks. :)

Anyway onto financial matters..so to speak. It's lovely to see you all doing so well and everyone still hard at saving as much as possible, well done everyone, keep hard at it.

£3.91 in the pot for me today...50p of that was what was saved from not paying at the CP!! We were only there literally for a minute so I stayed in the car as look-out!

Hi LC2, great to see you and know you're still saving well. Have a wonderful time in Malta! :j

Have a beautiful day tomorrow ALL, and many thanks once again. :)

£3 in the pot today. I think I will open it soon to get things for my daughters birthday.

Banked £113.00 in £2 & 50P coins today towards our trip to New York in October, waiting for £160 from Quidco to clear which is also going towards the trip. My poor DW came home from work with one of her dreaded migraines today, I don't think this muggy weather helps her, so to all of you who suffer with the darn things I feel for you, take care everyone and stay safe

Well done On the £113 banked sparky! When you really think about it, it won't be too long before we're into October, it's good to know the money's helping ease the strain.

I really do sympathise with your DW and I'm positive the weather makes migraines worse and more regular. All best wishes to her and I do hope the morning finds her feeling much better. We know she's in good hands for sure. :)

Good to see you Ruby and well done.

99p in the pot for me and 10p of that was roadkill! :j

Enjoy Sunday everyone, especially those of you in Scotland. :( Maybe the rain will stop.....one day!

A few small silver ones added to the bottle today. Too warm for walking or running too far so am not getting out and about much to collect road kill at the moment, thats likely to change when I move, lots of walking around looking for jobs me thinks, and the town I'm going to has its Job Centre in the town centre right opposite the gates to my petboy's work place.
