Hiya Paul, lovely to see you back again. Great news that things are looking up for Sarah and yourself, lets hope it stays that way, or at least remains on an even keel. I think all of us experience times when things are hard and times when all bills seem to come at the same time. All part of life Paul and at least you don't have to shell out for blessed fags anymore! Excellent going on that, you've done so very well!
Thanks for the kind words Sue, yes things are looking up here. :j:cool:0 -
Sue-UU, So worrying about your DH's eyes, so glad it was the migraine thing and not a stroke.
I really do sympathise, as I had the same thing about a year ago. Had never had migraine before, but a whole patch of my vision went for a couple of hours, and that was what the eye hospital said it was. Especially worrying as I did actually have a stroke about 15yrs ago and lost vision then, though it was very different.
Anyway, have just added £3.80 to my pot. Have had a few NSDs lately, which cuts down chances to get change to post in the pot, but, oh well, can't moan, it's all helping!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -
Just updating with £5.50 in the pot this week.
So new new total
£200 yay!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Hi peeps
Sue - migraines can be very odd. I used to get them years ago and would lose my speech - very scary when you don't know what's happening
I put a few golden coins into my piggy wig and £20 from my birthday money into my pottie.
start the new job on Monday so hopefully I can add to the pottie more often, don't think I'll do as well as last year tho. I can even pay back the £115 that 'borrowed' earlier in the year.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend. LcxxxSave me from spending...
