Been to L**L for a few supplies today, and came back with £4.40 for the pot. Put it in, and do you know, it's beginning to get quite a nice feel to it, definitely a bit heavier!

Hello, quite new to MSE and would like to join the Sealed Pot Challenge even though already in April :eek:
I already save £2 coins so these will not be included and also put all 1pence and 2 pence pieces in a charity tin so it will just be 5, 10 20 and 50 pence pieces I shall count.
Have not got a clue what I would like to aim for so anything will be a bonus.

I already have my pot it doesnt actually seal and dont think I will tape it up for the simple reason its not too big and will hopefully want emptying before end of year !!!:rotfl:thats the plan anyway but may get a bigger one instead. I shall put any change in every night hopefully.

Hi everyone, well done on your savings, have not been on for awhile only just noticed topic [could not find it].Have been saving £1,£2&50p in sealed pot and saving 1,2,5,10,20p in another pot so could save and count ssave time came xmas, have not done to bad i have took £30 of change to bank and added to £ jar.

Please put your number on your sig, it helps so very much For those unsure how to: Go to the top of the page, click the "User CP", next look for the option to "edit signature", click that and add it to your signature.

sparky, I can't somehow imagine that your name and reformed could ever go together in the same sentence! I can imagine the one-legged lift til their cash falls out though, can even see you having the nerve to ask them to then pick it up and give it to you!!! Shameful!!

If anyone is on the East Lancashire Road on Sunday, look out for a lot of scooters heading for Worsley, then Salford, there is a large scooter rally. It's the annual Vesperado's scooter rally, with trade stalls and face painting for kiddies.
