    Hi Everyone,

Have managed to put about £6 in the pot today! Been a lovely afternoon here took the LO's to the park and had ice cream. Perhaps summer is on the way.

  • Please may I join in your challenge. I have an old crackers pot which I will tape up. I'm just going to put very small change in it, towards Christmas. I would like to get enough to cover stocking fillers, probably £50. Thank you x

Hello and welcome to the thread liseyloo (good way to save the money not spent!) and renovation.girl! Lovely to meet you both. biggrin.gif Enjoy yourselves with us and have great fun saving. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. Please put your number on your sig, it helps so very muchkiss.gif For those unsure how to: Go to the top of the page, click the "User CP", next look for the option to "edit signature", click that and add it to your signature.

liseyloo, it's never too late to join in to save, and as sparky says, any sort of cash is more than worthy of a place in the pot! Lovely to hear from West Phalia, I didn't see where you were from in the quitting board, a really beautiful area!

renovation.girl, you put whatever you like (whatever you can) in your crackers pot, it'll all mount up, possibly sooner that you think too.

sparky, I hope you hadn't intended on shocking me with the new knee pads news ...what does surprise me is that you'll be PAYING for them!!!!! That's less in your pot! It's no good you coming out with these stories of the young'ns chucking their cash away, we know how you go about begging from them! :naughty: ..and that's on a good day!

KittyCat, whatever you save is money NOT spent! :)

Youand me alikewith a belated April Fool joke LC2.
GBN, are you sure you're not having us on about the 50p's??? You mean the Queen's face is like :( that?!! What's it normally like then? That was a bit naughty, though I don't expect she comes here! Could be LC, maybe!

Re the hands and knees bit LC2, I thought it was you that lead sparky and stunty!!! ;)

Well done melvis!! We know it gets tempting at times, but always treat it like a bomb - keep right away!

30p in the pot for me today.

Take care everyone and save, save save!

    Now Sue
You should know me better by now, it was only one time I held the kiddie up by one leg until all the change had dropped from his pockets :D, I'm a reformed man I tells ya, reformed! :rotfl:(Well sort of :p).

Anyhow, £14 in £2 coins yesterday, also 25p in road change, waiting for the pools man to come in this morning, so I should get another 5 £2 coins today :D. £3.10 going into the sealed pot this afternoon, at this rate I won't have anything left for food, so if you spot a mad man holding schoolkids up by one leg shaking the change out of their pockets, give me a wave or a toot on your horn as you drive past :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
