Thanks. I'm starting again with a whole new pot and have written myself an IOU note for the cash total; the gift vouchers are being squirrelled away, saving them to put towards a new phone.:D So this isn't the last you'll be hearing from me in 2010.:A

There's no escaping us FE, once you're in this gang, that's it for life ;). We're always here for support and as Sue has already said luckily enough you had it there :D

  • Hi all, Hope you are all well!

Just to update.. last time I was going to update, I read about sue's computer going bust and a couple of others saying theirs was struggling too! I was about to reply with.. well mine is going to go soon - the back of my laptop screen is cracking and will end up going. (purely physical) boo hoo. I turned my laptop off and was going to reply within the hour to find that my laptop wouldn't turn on!! :( I sear we must be cursed at the moment.
Anyhow after a week of trying bits and bobs to get it working I had to restore it to the factory settings, and thank god I didn't manage to lose anything on it. phew! I'm back now, but couldn't update on where I was upto with my jar:
Over the last few weeks (since then) i've added £10.32 in change! :jThat leaves me with a total of £61.92!
I've not been rumaging or spending but I suppose that is a good thing, and I see that continuing for a short while - I might as well while I can do it.:o
Anyway thats me up to date.

..I've not been out today and don't intend to.. but I'll take your word for it that it's cold!! Love the sunshine we have here though... today feels more like spring and a bit more positive for the year ahead! :T

Have a good day all! cs x

Hello fellow savers of the copper/silver variety
Been out of the loop for a while; still squirreling away with the saving (granted OH is doing most of that at the mo!)
Have given up on collecting road kill cause the people in Liverpool city centre just don't drop as much as they used to :D that or Sparky gets there first I think.
anyway I filled the wine bottle, twice, so I thought !!!!!! it and bagged all the copper & silver and threw the filled bags in a quality street tin we had lying around.... after the unemployment mishaps of the OH I calculate we have approx. £13 bagged and whatever other bits over. These will be bagged in a few months though I think.
Take care peeps, oh and if Sue is around ask her not to shout at me for bagging up this early in the year......! It hasn't been cashed in the bank yet; honest! :)

    Afternoon Sam
I think you'll find Stunty's closer to the City centre than me, I'm out in the 'burbs, and only venture into town when we need supplies of work clothes for DW, shoes and under crackers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Otherwise Stunty would run me out of town, seeing as he's the sherrif of them there parts :D.

I don't think Sue will shout at you, it doesn't matter if you do bag it and bank it as you go along, as long as you do what's best for you, just make sure you keep a running total for us, so when we come to the grand total, we can get it accurate ;)

Sorry for insinuating (sp?) you there Sparky :D The people on the Wirral are pretty shoddy when it comes to roadkill 'n all....
I solemnly promise to bag it and leave it in the tin til 1st December 2010 - I won't even go to New Brighton with it and use it in the 2p machines there...although temptation is a killer! :D
