    Could I join in please?
Bought a sealed tin for a quid this week as daughter reminded me I said I would and the sealed tins were still there from a year earlier in the shop-I used to save odd coins in a big whisky bottle and would often count them, then noticed after three months money had gone down as wifey had been tipping it up and down for a quid for the bus apparently!!!

This one is sealed- I may lay odds with Ladbrokes as to wether this one makes it through the summer intact before knives are stuck in the hole etc--so far have managed to stick a tenner or so in the last few days as no council tax to pay this month so all change has gone in each day.

Hoping to make enough for 2011 Speedway Grand prix tickets when I open it at xmas:rotfl:-but for now its seen as a xmas pot for 2010:A

Wifey has one as well so its each man for himself at this stage although she knows I will weaken at xmas and donate a bit if she aint got much in hers as daughter will want to be there at grand opening and no doubt reporting back to head office;):D:think:
  • Just to let you know I've decided that I'm not ready for this challenge quite yet, I've been looking at things and instead of saving (even just pennys) I need to be putting everything in to clearing of my debts so I've decided thats what I'm going to do, so I'll be dropping out of the challenge for now
    Thanks for your friendship xx

  • Good luck with paying off your debts. Believe me once you do you will never get into debt again. We had friends who had see it, want it, buy it mentality. The upshot was they had £95'000 worth of debt (they amassed this before we became friends). Now after a long hard slog they are debt free. If they can do it you can. :)
