Can I please join in. I got one of those electronic money boxes which counts your change as you put it in just before Christmas. Have to say I am addicted at putting all my loose change in it. At the minute I don't spend very much so try and use bigger value coins to get more change...lol...

I don't put anything bigger than a 50p in...and they are rare...so it is mostly coppers and small silver.

Oh, would like to set a target of £250....:D
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

Hi all, I've officially started my sealed pot challenge with £8 and some shrapnel. Was originally due to start with a shiney £20 note but couldn't afford it but hope to do so at some point. I put in a £5 note instead.

My aim is to fill the jar with £2 coins and 50ps by mid-December. Hopefully that will work even though my spending will be cut back a lot this year so I can work on my debt reduction some more. Wish me luck!

Same as above for you k8h89 with "a measly 10p"!:naughty: That saved every day of the year would be pretty good and better than nowt!!
