  • Hiya
Can I be added to the list too please? I always save all my shrapnel and £2 coins but keep counting them up so there's no suprise at the end of the year I really like the idea of waiting til Dec to do this. We've got loads of piggy banks in my house so I'm going to aim to fill them all and then add all of this to a giant sealed pot I will find [or make] over the year... I promise not to cheat and count up the boxes as they're full!!!
  • Is it too late for me to join, I intend to be putting a pound in the pt each day so by the end of the year I will have £365. Not sure it will work out like that, most probably just end up putting my change into the pot after shopping, we shall see. Anything saved is better than nothing right? :)

  • We investigated the contents of our pots the other day just to see how well we were doing. I am very impressed. Since I joined the challenge we have saved £126. We've put the bankable coinage into our savings account so they can gain a bit of interest before April. The rest has gone back in the pot to try and attract more money! I'm hoping we can save another £70 before the end of April but that might be wishful thinking.

  • £4 from pot of gold scratchcard in the pot yesterday :j Haven't spent any money in the last few days because I'm trying to reduce the overdraft, so my little pot will be a bit light for a while. But, I've just joined the 'turn £100 into £10000' thread on up your income so will be contributing some money from that to the pot, the rest is going in a savings account.

Jobs today include eBaying and opening said savings account :D

    Have a good day all.
