lol... dialup internet through your phone with USB?
thats not even remotely possible.
you can use WAP which is the mobile phone worlds internet.. YOU CANNOT access regular internet pages using a mobile phone.
3G phones can access some information from the internet, but either way you cannot access the real internet without a PC, laptop, PDA etc.0 -

thanks for the clarification chris, I guess he'll just have to fork out. I have decided to buy the laptop I've linked above with the free 3g card and switch my internet connection at home to wireless. Thanks for all your help everyone, you have sorted and explained things so even I understand

though its not legal, I bet if you sit up any residential street you will find at least 2 unprotected wireless Networks in peoples homes that you can surf on a laptop for free within range
there's 2 within range of mine (which IS protected) as I sit here

Why people don't secure there's i have no idea- or as i did- set up a little group of neighbours network and share the cost!
