lol... dialup internet through your phone with USB?

    thats not even remotely possible.

you can use WAP which is the mobile phone worlds internet.. YOU CANNOT access regular internet pages using a mobile phone.

3G phones can access some information from the internet, but either way you cannot access the real internet without a PC, laptop, PDA etc.

I think I know what this means!

Please help STANMORESAVER, who is so obsessed with moneysaving he will not fork out for a 3G card ;)

Now MM that is vicious slander- but why i am spending money on the wear and tear of my keyboard replying i have no idea!
I am a fee charging WoM Mortgage broker.
I now no longer give information and opinion within the Mortgage boards, because a number of posters who, having approached me professionally, agreed my fee-which has been been made very clear at the outset, taken my advice (normally cancelling a [home visit] meeting at short notice) have then approached one of the fee-free brokers on here to arrange the very same deal I have advised.
Whilst I totally concur with the ethos of "money saving"- abusing the goodwill of a professional who provides a quality service is taking it too far!

though its not legal, I bet if you sit up any residential street you will find at least 2 unprotected wireless Networks in peoples homes that you can surf on a laptop for free within range

there's 2 within range of mine (which IS protected) as I sit here :)

not that I would condone that !! ;)
