Update on the situation
Girlfriend just recieved an email from them saying they have been having problems with there email account and that the item has been posted. I will wait and see how long it takes and update you all.
As a final point i think makoosh should update there contact details as a simple phone call could have sorted all this out0 -
Yep hard to believe,but tucked neatly inside its own black mesh bag was a single silver earring,must have been placed in the bag by hand.How this mistake occurred is beyond me.
Phoned up the telephone number listed above and was answered by Louise who told me that John(operations director of the above posting) who saw to this sort of thing was "out to lunch" i suppose it was lunch time.Left my telephone number and am still waiting for the return call.
I have sent emails to this company that have gone unanswered.
I live closeby so they can expect a doorstep if they don't get a move on.

Operations director John(viking sorry about the pm, thanks for the notification)did indeed phone me back and said they would rectify the problem by sending out the second earring,which arrived by special delivery the next day, thanks John.
He said they were preferentially set up for email customer service,rather than by telephone.
All's well that ends well.
