Hi, my girlfriend just recently bought something from makoosh.com however over a week later she has still had no confirmation of her order yet they have taken the money from her account.

Does anyone have any onformation regarding this company ?

yes she has on various ocassions but with no reply from them, we found a phone for them however it just says the number is not in use. She can not even cancel the order and get her money back as the site does not give the option, all it says is if your unhappy return the item then you will get a refund, whihc is kind of hard when they wont send out an item

write them a recorded delivery letter stating you want to exercise your statutory right to cancel your order within 7 days and refund you within 14 days otherwise you will be issuing small claims action for your money.

write this to all of the addresses to make sure it gets to the right person and keep a copy for yourself

Strange one this. Whilst the site is slick and seems above board there seems to be a reluctance to display a valid telephone number.

Hi Mestew,

My name is John and I'm the Operations Director at Makoosh.com. A brand monitoring system we have in place has alerted me to this post, and naturally it's only diligent that Makoosh responds and does everything we can to amend the situation for you mestew.

If you could supply the order number, I will have this looked into straight away.

It's very unusual that one of our team has not responded to a customer service query. The only explanation I could give is that we have recently switched over to a new system for policing spam and there have been teething problems.

The other matter to clear up would be the WHO.IS registrar information. Oxygen Online Marketing were originally the company who build the website, but they no longer exist.

I apologise for any inconvenience or distress caused, and as suggested above, will look into the matter personally straight away.

Always nice to see a company rep on the boards John, and always appreciated that you are willing to resolve problems.

Are you going to post up correct contact addresses and telephone numbers on you Makoosh website, or shall I just presume you've got something to hide in not complying with regs?

I went on the site after reading this and there is something I want to order - I'm not sure it's a good idea though?
