Title says it all, i am certain to be opting for a meter, my question is do you save money on both bills, supply and waste? I am with folkstone and dover (now vwolia) for supply and southern for waste.

Clearly whether you save or not will depend on what you pay now and how much you use on a meter.
In essence though, yes, you pay a proportionate amount for waste based upon your consumption.
I changed to a water meter as my home has a rain water catchment system which is pumped to the toilet, washing machine & shower. My annual water bills (inc waste) are now about £100 (2 people), they were nearer £400 before having a meter fitted.0 -
Your water supplier will provide your meter readings to the sewerage company. The sewerage will then bill for a proportion of this (e.g. Wessex Water use 95%).
Whether or not you will save money depends on how much water you use!!0 -
