Definately working now - btw they can put the vouchers through without scanning so they dont break the card off incase your using it as gift. (They had to enter it in, the first lady didnt know howto do this though but the tesco direct desk did).

Thanks for this. Have just bought 2 itunes cards at Tesco in Cradley Heath, they had a sign with the offer details in the elctrical department. (They did break the cards, but this is not a problem as they are for my children)

If you walk in to Tesco and ask them to scan the price of a chicken they can, it's not like you've eaten it before you pay for it.
Tunes vouchers are the same they only become active after the payment is completed. The only exception to this is mobile phone topups that go straight to your phone balance. Since the iTunes is a voucher and doesn't go straight to your iTunes account it can be scanned.

Just tried to buy to £15 vouchers in Tesco Thurrock..when they tried to scan them, they wouldn't register and as such they have now stopped selling the £15 vouchers.

They say it's because the deal is ffrom Itunes and not them, although theyweren't aware of it until I told them.

If you cannot get this to work, and you have a Clintons cards, buy todays Times - 90p, page 67 (i think) has a voucher for £10 off when buying 2 x £15 itunes vouchers at Clintons cards. You ALSO HAVE TO BUY A CHRISTMAS CARD - These are available at 99p.

So you get £30 of itunes for £21.89 if you buy a 99p card.

Hope this helps those struggling with Tesco's offer.

Yes you can use it on the iPhone. Open up iTunes (on your iPhone), scroll down to the bottom of the new releases or top 10s or whatever you're looking at and there's a button that says 'Redeem'. Here you can enter your gift card number.

If you redeem your voucher (i.e. add credit to your iTunes account) on your computer instead of your phone it doesn't make any difference, the credit will be available to spend directly from your phone.

DO you have to redeem the voucher today only tho or could i go tomorrow Does the voucher say?

I think the voucher works today and tomorrow, might be longer, but as I have used mine today I can't check.

BTW it's page 67 of today's Times.
