What reasons for advanced payments on arrears?

Can you only get an advanced payment is csa has malministration faults on your case? Could you not ask for advance payment if child needs things that i can not afford to pay for, eg computer for course work ect ect??

thanks

I think you only get advance payments if there are arrears from the NRP end and they are certain that they can recoup the money.

And the NRP has proven that they will pay by paying for a period of at least 3 months but it may be 6.

    Kelloggs is right and...

PWCS on here cannot afford a lot of things we would like to purchase for our child (ren). It alll comes down to proof.

LG ...I've got your initials right now :) is also correct. In my case though the CSA will be centuries away from recouping all the advance payments I've received from the NRP. But I still got them. It appears the 2 year rule does not apply to my dear ex self employed NRP.

you are right. an SE nrp cant be 40% DEO'd, therefore they would have to use enforcement measures.

thing is, 40% deo's are criminal. what nrp can survive with 60% of their wage gone before they see it???

sorry, but pwc's going short on CM isn't in the same league as losing that %.
NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.

and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.

I am in the process of starting a complaint against the way they have handled my case or lack of it! lol And wanted to try and keep them separate if i can! Im still a little confused over the replies! Might just be having a brain dead moment as going through my data protection stuff as well!! So could I ask them for an advance for things needed for her school course work and school trip with me not being able to afford them etc? and without going down the malministration route? My ex has been payin regular now for about a year now and sorry I did mean arrears advance payments as my ex does still owe arrears to me!

    Thanks

So being owed arrears, let's say 10K as a nice round figure, is not in the same league as an NRP having 40% of net wages deducted?

It is a very slow process. lol And wanted to try and keep them separate if i can! Im still a little confused over the replies! I have the advance payment criteria in my documents, but cannot get a link onto MSE. Send me your email address via PM and I will send the file to you.
