I have the advance payment criteria in my documents, but cannot get a link onto MSE. Send me your email address via PM and I will send the file to you.

not all nrp's have the choice though.

unless you believe the insane ramblings of certain posters who claim all csa assessments are accurate and genuine.

You have an equal opportunity to these 'insane rambling posters' to be heard by the CSA via appeal. Unfortunately, it seems that the CSA take into account FACTS which might go against the grain of NRP who don't want to voluntarily support their children ......

I don't find the need to insult anyone, just interested in my child and what is right and within the CSA guidelines and the law.

i'm guessing you've never been on the end of a miscalculation on their part??

i'll see if i can dig out a link for you. it's a comprehensive list of compensation payments they've been forced to make to (mainly) nrp's cos of their monumental fluff ups.

many appeals are sucessful too. the trouble is, they have some massively draconian powers which they regularly abuse.

still, the net is closing on them and changes are being made for the good. for example, they've thrown out their request to issue in house LO's as they know that they will abuse it.

there's also plenty of shadow cabinet interest too, so who knows. :T

also, if they always went on facts, then the concrete proof i provided at my appeal would have been upheld.

apparently, a hand written letter (by my ex) to my solicitor wasn't deemed as conclusive?

    her "word" however, was.

the world of the csa is not as black and white/ clear cut as a lot of people on here would believe.

blinkered views and lack of facts are rife her i'm afraid.

Nothing will change. They are still utterly incompetent.

Sorry to prove you wrong here, I know you think you wrote the book on CSA error, however, I've been waiting 3 years for a correct calculation which I've now just received. There have been a catalogue of errors on the CSA's part, they apologise, all errors to do with not acting on MY requests on changing circumstances throughout the years. And the upshot of it is that I didn't even know until 8 months ago via MP involvement that they never acted on my requests, so I'm well aware of how wrong the CSA can get things and it certainly doesn't just affect NRP.

Their mistakes will now lessen the amount I was told 6 months ago that was owed to me covering the three year period. Now, if I were anything like you......I'd be fuming, right? Wrong.

I'm happy, as I know that the ex will pay what is right and according to records and evidence.

Now, the strange thing is, my ex is just like you, and he will appeal this decision. I know my CSA rules and regulations, and I know he will fail.

But then, he will only say he lost because of their "draconian" laws. Hmmmmmmm.

    a couple of points.

firstly, i'm nothing like your ex, and secondly, i'm paying the correct amount according to THEIR rules.

my appeal was based on overnight stays and the fact that my ex was advised by the caseworker that if she reduced my overnights, i wouldn't get a reduction. she then proceeded to claim i never had overnights at all.

they believed her, despite the proof i provided which confirmed her lies.

i then decided to fight back. what's good for the goose etc.

this agency may promote and financially reward contact blocking, but i certainly wont. hence my stance.

all she had to do was leave contact as it was and accept the generous package i offered, but greed and spite got in the way.

what baffles me is, she would be far better off with the csa out of the picture, but is hellbent on getting them to "destroy me" (her words)

fat chance. they're too stoooooopid. :T

sorry if i don't fit into your idea of a poster.

trouble is, this section can be very anti nrp.

we've all been stuffed by the system in one way or another. it's both sides and families who are affected by it all too.

not much advice offered to any nrp's who dare to post, as threads turn into rows and get locked anyway.
