Been a fan of his for years, back to the days when he did "That Peter Kay Thing".

Right behind you mate, the same old same old, big light on etc etc.
can't take it away from him though Phoenix nights is pure class, give me Dave Spikey any day.

If he sold out 400,000 tickets in 15 minutes with little publicity wait for these to go on sale!
    .

Little publicity  , he was on Chris Moyles, This Morning and Paul O Grady and he even plugged it on Children In Need , as well as independent radio !

He was bleeting on about how he didnt want to travel because of his family, i do find him funny but the guy takes the pee and is just a money grabber, this has been planned all along IMO

I can't make the May 14th gig and booked a £36 Travelodge room close to the arena if anyone wants to buy it off me? Prices are now £56

Loads of people have done this in the past who I've wanted to see(released a few dates then added more) , he's not the first, it's common practice to have everone clamouring to buy tickets so they're desperate enough to buy any old seats. Extremely annoying! I just wish they'd announced the rest of the dates before the real fans bought overpriced tickets from the Ebay touts.

I'm gonna wait for the DVD too, I'm getting to the age where the buying tickets, getting there, getting home winds me up so much it's not worth the hassle for a few hours entertainment. ;)

Yes i am one of the idiots who got up early on Sat 21 Nov and spent ages trying for tickets on the four dates he mentioned only to not get anywhere. Then all of a sudden another 16 dates appear. I managed to get tickets for the 6th May (after an hour and a half) and book a hotel for the night. Total cost is going to be somewhere in the region of £260.

First tour in 7 years and only in Manchester because of his kids etc, etc...

Then all of a sudden he appears on Ross's show announcing how people are getting ripped off on ebay(his fault in the first place) etc.... so now hes going to tour the country.

Greedy Greedy Greedy man. I am so !!!!ed off about this.

I would recommend nobody buys his tickets for his other locations so the fat !!!!!!! doesnt coin more money in.

We saw Dave Spikey at York and Jason Manford in Leeds.

Both are worth seeing - extremley funny and warm with it. Also better and more intimate venues!
