If he sold out 400,000 tickets in 15 minutes with little publicity wait for these to go on sale!

Prepare to have your funnybone tickled when one of Britain's top comedians arrives at The O2.
Peter Kay brings his "Tour That Doesn't Tour Tour" to the arena on November 5, 6 and 7 next year, his first appearances at the venue and his first national tour for seven years.
The Bolton-born funnyman, has sold out 20 nights at the Manchester Evening News Arena and demand for The O2 shows is likely to be almost as high, so a maximum of eight tickets will be sold to each applicant.
Kay has also enjoyed chart success recently including a number one with his Children In Need single but he's pleased to be back on the road doing comedy.
He said: "I'm delighted to be going back on tour and have been completely overwhelmed with the demand for tickets, it's going to be a great tour and I can't wait to get back on nights again"
Also booked in for shows are Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and X Factor favourites JLS.
Bocelli will play the arena on November 12 while JLS will headline a show on December 9 next year.
Tickets for Peter Kay go on sale at 9am on Friday from theo2.co.uk or by calling 0844 856 0202.

  • thats a bit irresponsible getting everyone to travel to Manchester and then deciding to tour after all - he should spare a thought for the environment I wonder if lots of the M/cr tickets will be going cheap as people decide to go see him locally instead?

At the end of the day the Manchester tickets will make money due to the location. Sell them now and get your new tickets friday. Problem solved.

I was at the Echo Arena Livepool on Sunday and its a great little arena, easy parking with a few bars and New Pizza express outside.

Even the back tier isn't too bad unlike the MEN and O2. I think I'll get a second fix there.

Good Luck as the hotcakes will sell out.

Oh and just for your information if you normally vacate these shores at Easter, the Liverpool dates fall over the Easter Weekend. 24th April is Easter Sunday 2011.
  • That's damn annoying, i spent 40 minutes trying to get a ticket for Manchester. Finally got one then find out later he'll be going to London (where I live..)

I'm going to buy tickets for London then flog my Manchester tickets
