Has anyone got any small Tesco staff shirts ?

well its true yes i do get the odd t shirt for promos

but no uniform i u don't believe me then tuff but its true

if you dress smartly, maybe wear a suitably coloured tie, people might think your more important than you really are

ie. someone outside of your store, as it would seem your store management havnt got anywhere

If you can't find a Tesco one get an Asda or Morrisons one, wear that for a day and Tesco will either sack you or supply a Tesco one, problem solved:j

I've worked in a place where someone actually did what you are planning to do - provide their own uniforms.

Got a final warning. You may like to check that what you are doing is okay with the bosses.

Tescos have a policy of providing uniforms after a set period of employment, not straight away, simply because if someone is sacked or leaves after a few weeks they don't need to pay for the uniform. 5 months is not unacceptable for Tescos in terms of uniform, it is to cut costs without cutting costs so to speak - they do reduce the quality (hmm maybe) of the uniform but only provide it to staff who have completed the probation/training period within the store.
