wouldnt stoping the bootup still leave the program on the PC and in the registry?... re-instaling and deleting it properly will remove all the contents of the program and from registry (and boot sequences for the file!)

if i was you i'l reinstall it and then delete it using add/remove or its uninstall file (in F:\installs\TeraUSB\).

if you want to remove it from boot sequence only, download and install HijackThis (http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip)
open HijackThis and click "do a systemscan and save log file". once done, copy and paste the stuff in the logfile here... will be easier to get rid of it... a techie here will check it for you and find what entrie(s) to remove to prevent the error message

The System Configuration Utility message box is nothing to worry about, and it's not an error. That message box comes up if you have changed any settings using msconfig and then reboot. Just tick the "Don't show this message ..." box and click OK.

make a backup of and tick the box next to bold key and remove it... restart and see if the popup's gone.
if its not gone, restore the key and reinstall the "TeraUSB" file, restart and delete it from add/remove in controlpanel or delete using its uninstall file if it has one

The VTAgentReboot error appears to be caused by installing NTL's broadband installer software. See here for more info:

Use msconfig to prevent it from being loaded, as described previously in this thread.

If your PC has a network port, and your NTL cable modem has an ethernet interface, use this in preference to a USB connection to your cable modem. This isn't necessary to fix your problem though, just a suggestion.
