Broadband for people in Kent

http://www.sobroadband.com/

i've been with them for a while now and the service has been fantastic.

Satellite broadband is far better than regular ADSL:

- contention ratio is 50:1, but because so few people are using at the moment, your unlikely to have your speed lowered by other users
- 512 kbps upstream opposed to most which is 256, good for online games
- 1.5 mbps for 20 quid a month, and it really is 1.5... becuase its satellite (3 mb for 30 quid a month, but i dont really need any faster) broadband, the signal is as the crow flies, opposed to ADSL which is wherever the copper wire goes.
- Free access to their WI-FI hotspots all over Kent and in London. Good if your at college/uni

I looked at satellite broadband before and it was far more expensive than before; this is by far the best service ive ever found, and after 4 months with them the service has been far better than any broadband ive had before (and i was with Zen before this :P)

Well, SoBroadband isn't satellite broadband. It is wireless, using "WiMAX" technology.

A bit on the pricey side, as you can get decent ADSLmax packages which offer up to 8Mbps downstream & 448Kbps upstream. But of use to those that can't achieve particularly good service using ADSL.
