Hello I'm going to the US and a don't want to incur extra charges for data. Can I disable to put email and data and would I need to do the Wifi aswell? Thanks

  • It's fairly straight forward to turn your data and e-mail off.

I have a Curve 8900 but I imagine it's the same procedure on most Blackberries.

    1) Select the "Manage Connections" icon from the menu
    2) Select "Mobile Network Options" from the list
    3) Select "Data Services" from the list
    4) Scroll to "Off" or "Off when Roaming" and select

    Job done!

Not too sure on Wi-fi but I'd turn it off to be safe.
