.... unlock Samsung A800

Hey all

Im aware there are codes to do the above, but - how do I go about it? Does anyone have any of these codes?

Try *2767*2878#

You should be aware that codes work with some models but not with others, this is because of changes made by samsung with the firmware.

There is a possibility that the same code which will remove the sims lock on one A800 may cause another to not work at all.

Take the sims out of the phone before you enter the code

I tried unlocking my A800 with a code (*2767*637#
) calculated on https://www.mobileunlocked.co.uk - paid £3 for the honour. However it did not work and only then did I read the 'disclaimer' that it may not be possible to unlock all samsungs using codes only as they may be in simple terms 'double locked'.

The proverbial 'guy at the market' managed to unlock it for me with his 'clips + leads' for a tenner.

there is free s/w available on the net to unlock these but you will need an original samsung t100 cable (the one that comes with sam t100 when new) some of the cheap copy cables wont work.
