How many bank accounts do you have?

I've done a financial check and have decided to just keep a Ntionwide current account, a Nationwide e/savings account (not much there!) and an ISA account (ditto!) I think this will make financial things easier for me. How many accounts do you have as opposed to need?

1 x Cahoot current account (under review:mad: ), 1 x Cahoot savings as a current account feeder, 1 x Bradford & Bingley e saver (for the monthly interest income), 1 x Birmingham Midshires e-saver, 1 x Yorkshire Building Society mini cash e- isa, 1 x N S & I mini cash direct isa. All needed and nothing surplus to requirements.

Barclays current account - wages go in this, then transferred to all the following:
Barclays e-Saver - Just an online saving account. Not much in this.
Barclays Regular Saver - £100 a month goes into this at the moment. This will rise to £250 after August when my credit card is paid off.

Natwest current account - all bills are paid from this

Egg Money account - All spending on petrol and food goes through this, for the 1% moneyback.

HSBC credit card (still at 0% on a BT for 3 more months). Will close this when the balance is cleared in August.

I have one dormant Barclays account that I used to use for bills, before I started to use my Natwest one for that.

    First Direct Current Account

    Woolwich Savings Account
Abbey Instant Saver - the money then goes into:
    Abbey Maxi Isa

Five Credit Cards. I need them for my various work expenses, to keep the type of expense separate and therefore manage my accounts better. I get reimbursed promptly so I pay the balance in full each month.

    Er.. that's it.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

Natwest current account which handles my salary, a monthly transfer from DH and all household bills.

2 Natwest savings accounts with about 30p in each so they can be closed.

An ING Direct monthly savings account.

3 credit cards with decreasing balances. These will be closed completely when paid off.
