Signal problems with 3 network

I wonder if anyone can help my dad, he was on contract with 3 and one of the ariels near where he lives has problem (nr M11) 3 are aware of the problem which they are trying to sort out (so far unsucessfully), his question is if he is to change providers will he have the same problem, does anyone know if the same mast is being used, He lives in Harlow and its the Harlow mast that has crashed.
Its not just his 3 mobile that has reception problems its also the mobile internet he has.
Any thoughts?

Has this just happened? I would have thought that any faults would be rectified pretty quickly.

Presumably you've spoken to them and they've told you what the problem is. Could they not give you any idea how long it might be until it is rectified?

I think changing providers is a bit drastic. The associated cost and upheaval when it may be fixed in days aren't really worth it I don't think.
