I believe all newer Samsungs are cable unlock (at your local phone shop, 5 to 10 quid). Or network work unlock (price depends on which network).
Don't be persuaded to try some of the code unlocks found on the net. On newer models they can change the IMEI to all zero's which will stop it working on all UK networks and screw your guarantee.0
